Youd better keep your password handy because this app will still need it even with Touch ID enabled.

On first use, I had to enter my password twice, less than 10 seconds apart, to enable Touch ID. Really? Are you defending me from the risk of my phone getting stolen in those 10 seconds? Please streamline. 20 minutes later I got a push notification annoying me that Id been logged out. What exactly am I supposed to do with that information? If I need to use Touch ID to long in, just tell me the next time I run the app. Dismissing the interruption took longer than authenticating will.

Love this app and dont understand what all the hate is about. It works. Doesnt crash. And is way easier than logging into Safari to pay my bill or check my balance. I use it all the time. It makes you enter your password periodically (rather than allowing Touch ID every single time) but who cares? Theyre protecting our security. Minor inconvenience for a good reason. Two thumbs up.

Ever since Ive gotten the card and downloaded the app over a year ago, I have never been able to make a payment through the app. It always errors out. Now, Im locked out of my account after attempting to log into my account once. The horrible customer service that Ive been receiving as well, has continued to inform me that they do not have automatic payment options an FINALLY over a year later someone decides to tell me that they do offer it and always have offered it. Irritated and over it.

It doesnt remember your login info. Password doesnt work, but it works on the website. Also, Touch ID login doesnt work.

Should be fix. Overall its nice app to monitor activity and pay

Periodically I have to reauthenticate the app to allow me to use TouchID. If I wanted to type in my password all the time I wouldnt have turned on TouchID. This is the only app I use that does this. Its quite silly.

Alerts are not getting pushed as notifications on my iOS 10.1.1, iPhone 7.

Would I like to check my balance using only my finger? Yes. Good thing I choose to enable touchid. Oh! Wait, you need my password again and again and again? Give me a good reason why I can only use touchid sometimes. Add 1Password support so Im not so angry about entering my password.

Why have they invented their own Barclay-specific UI conventions? I have more trouble figuring out how to use this app than any other. iOS has figured this stuff out already. It will be easier for your developers and users if you just go with it.

One of the main reasons I like apps for my financial accounts is notifications. My other credit card notifies me at every purchase. Came in handy when someone stole my card number and bought 900 bucks worth of stuff. I knew immediately. This app claims to send notifications but it doesnt work on mine. Only one star until they fix this critical feature.

I think the app is good overall but recently it started sending notifications when youve been inactive for 20 minutes and have been logged out. These notifications are very, very annoying. They dont help you in any way but they are noisy (figuratively, not literally). They provide useless information. Most of the time Ive already manually closed the app, or moved away from it, and I dont care at all. But there it is, popping up and annoying me all the time. It makes me want to not use the app at app because every time I open it now I grimace since I know that no matter what Im going to be annoyed in T minus twenty minutes.

The app seems to have no trouble pushing notifications when signing me out after 20 minutes, but never of individual transactions as the app promises and as turned on in features. Coming from Amex as my former JetBlue card I see this as a major feature and dont feel as safe having this as my number one card anymore. There also doesnt seem to be anyway to leave app feedback. If you want me to continue using this card, FIX PUSH NOTIFICATIONS. Update 5/3: Notifications still dont work. Exactly what bugs are you fixing with these updates?

What a stupid TouchID implementation! Every time — EVERY SINGLE TIME — theres an update, you have to "confirm with your password to login with TouchID". What the hell does that mean? Whats the point of having TouchID setup if I have to remember the stupidly complex password you guys require? Implement TouchID in the way it is supposed to. Look at Band of America or many other banking apps out there that have successfully implemented TouchID very securely, and dont have to ask for your password all the time, so I can login with TouchID. It is VERY evident that the developers are not actually using the app themselves. Otherwise this wouldnt be the way it is.

Updated and now it wont open.

With the latest "BarClay App" update a issue has developed. When the app is opened, "Not Logged On To", then closed a message appears that the site has timed out because you did not log off. Never logged on in the first places or at times the site has issues. VWG Annoying !

It is simple, user friendly, and in my experience bug free. Highly recommend.

Keep getting a notification that I am being logged out because of 20 minutes of inactivity. The thing is, I was already logged out.

As others have noted, the latest update doesnt log off even when you log out and close the app. You then get a notice that you are being logged off after 20 minutes. I fear this could be a vulnerability that could be exploited for identity theft purposes and have therefore removed the app permanently from my phone. Suggest everyone consider this if the developer doesnt fix at once
